On October 20 and 21, a conference on combating human trafficking was held in Hungary, organized by the Budapest Process and the European Migration Network. The event saw the participation of law enforcement agencies from numerous European countries, the United States, and representatives from various international organizations dedicated to combating human trafficking. The representative of the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs represented our country at the conference.
During the conference, extensive discussions were conducted on strategies to combat human trafficking, as well as on the identification and protection of victims of human trafficking among illegal migrants.
