Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings Holds Another Training Session

On 5 June, the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs organized another training session at the General Customs Department on Air Transport of the State Customs Committee.

Addressing the participants, a representative of the Main Department delivered presentations on the following topics: “Continuing Efforts to Identify Victims of Trafficking in Human Beings and Forced Labour, Including Children, Foreign Nationals, and Stateless Persons”, “Ensuring a Victim-Centred Approach to Victims of Domestic Trafficking in Human Beings and Forced Labour, and Taking Appropriate Liability Measures against Natural Persons, Officials, and Legal Entities Involved in Human Exploitation”, “Strengthening Measures to Identify Possible Domestic Links of Criminal Groups Engaged in Transnational Organized Crime Related to Trafficking in Human Beings”, and “Identifying Various Forms of Trafficking in Human Beings, Offenders, and Victims through Effective Border Control Measures, and Strengthening Preventive Preparedness.”

Participants were also provided with comprehensive information on the prevention of trafficking in human beings, the nature of the crime, the threats it poses, ongoing efforts to combat trafficking in human beings, and the administrative, criminal law, protection, and other measures ensured by the State.
