On April 11, a training session organized by the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs was held at the Training and Education Center of the State Migration Service for university students and young professionals operating in various fields.

The event, conducted within the framework of the “Migration School-8” project on the topic of “Combating Human Trafficking,” aimed to enhance the students’ and young people’s knowledge of migration, foster interest in this field, develop professional skills, and provide information on public administration. Officials from the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs participated in the event as trainers.

Comprehensive information was provided to senior students and recent graduates specializing in law, political science, international relations, regional studies, oriental studies, public administration, and sociology regarding the national strategy for combating human trafficking. This included the improvement of the normative-legal framework and institutional mechanisms, preventive work, criminal prosecution, as well as measures for the social rehabilitation and protection of trafficking victims. Following the presentations, inquiries from the attendees were addressed in detail regarding the subject matter.
