Another Training Session Conducted by the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings

On February 24, a training session organized by the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs was held at the Baku City Main Customs Department of the State Customs Committee.

During the event, which focused on “Identification of Various Forms of Human Trafficking, Perpetrators, and Victims through Effective Border Control Measures, and Strengthening Preventive Preparedness in the Republic of Azerbaijan,” a representative of the Main Department delivered a comprehensive presentation. The session covered key topics including

“Combating Human Trafficking,” “Gender Dimensions in Human Trafficking,” “National Legislation,” and “Protection of Victims of Human Trafficking.”

Participants were provided with extensive information on the prevention and nature of human trafficking, its associated risks, and the ongoing operational activities. Detailed insights were shared regarding administrative, criminal-legal, protective, and other measures guaranteed by the State. Following the presentations, inquiries regarding the subject matter were addressed in detail.
