Vienna hosted training on combating human trafficking

A training on combating human trafficking was held in Vienna, Austria on September 9-12 on the sidelines of Prague Process with organization of International Center for Migration Policy.

A representative of Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan also participated the training, which was attended by representatives from 14 countries of Europe.

International trainers informed participants thoroughly on “Human trafficking in the context of migration, Human Trafficking, and Migrant Trafficking”, “Irregular legal status, challenges for transit countries, Human trafficking- migration- shelter connection, Human Trafficking and labor migration”, “Cases of violation of labor legislation, difficulties for labor inspectors in determined countries, changing tendency”, “Human trafficking in context of cybercrime, Human Trafficking in online atmosphere”, “online fraud, current problems in combating assistance and exploitation cases of trafficking. Legal, technical, and Informative barriers for effective investigation of these crimes. Human trafficking for purpose of online fraud and other crimes”, “what is interdepartmental approaches to combating human trafficking?”, “National Interference Mechanism Concepts”, and “Interdepartmental activity in improving and forming cooperation among interested parties”, discussions have been held.
