On April 24, the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs organized a virtual training session for representatives of different police structures.
During the session, Vamig Namendzade, an officer of the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, delivered presentations on the following topics: “Trafficking in human beings and forced labour as forms of transnational organized crime,” “Distinguishing the crime of trafficking in human beings from offences against public morals,” and “Prevention and deterrence of trafficking in human beings and forced labour.”
At the conclusion of the training, numerous questions raised by participants were answered in detail.
