On April 21, the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs organized the next training session for migration service personnel at the Training and Education Center of the State Migration Service.
During the event, held on the topic of “Gender Aspects in Trafficking in Human Beings,” Vamig Namendzade, an officer of the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings, delivered presentations on the following subjects: “Combating trafficking in human beings,” “Gender aspects in trafficking in human beings,” “National legislation,” “Protection of trafficking victims,” and other related topics.
Comprehensive information was provided to the participants regarding the prevention of trafficking in human beings, its nature and the risks it poses, ongoing anti-trafficking measures, and the administrative, criminal-legal, protective, and other safeguards ensured by the government. Furthermore, all inquiries raised by the participants were thoroughly addressed.
