S.Mammadzada, suspected of sexually exploiting women who are citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, was apprehended as a result of an operational measure carried out by the employees of the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
Upon completion of the criminal investigation, the case materials were forwarded to the court for judicial review.
In accordance with the court’s ruling, S.Mammadzada was found guilty under Articles 144-1.2.1, 144-1.2.2 and 144-3.4 of the Criminal Code. She was sentenced to a term of 5 years in prison.
