The Agency for State Support to NGOs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, jointly with the "Prioritet" Social Economic Research Center PU, organized a training course as part of the project "Increasing the Knowledge and Skills of NGOs in the Field of Combating Human Trafficking."
Representatives from the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs also participated in the training sessions, which were held on October 29 and 30.
In a collaborative and professional environment, the training sessions provided participants with valuable insights from the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings. Presentations covered key areas and the legal framework for human trafficking prevention in the Republic of Azerbaijan. Participants were also educated on various forms and methods of human exploitation, prevention strategies, legal rights, protection, and assistance for trafficking victims, as well as the dangers posed by human trafficking and safeguarding measures against it.
