Educational events were conducted in Ganja city, Goranboy city, and Govlar city of the Tovuz region, in accordance with Article 11 of the Law of the Republic of Azerbaijan "On Combating Human Trafficking," and subsections 4.2 and 4.8 of the "National Action Plan on Combating Human Trafficking in the Republic of Azerbaijan for 2020-2024."

Over the dates of May 13-15, 2024, these events engaged more than 200 individuals, including teachers and students from integrated training boarding gymnasium in the aforementioned cities.
Elshad Mammadli from the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Sudaba Mammadova, Chairwoman of the "Tamas" Regional Development Public Union, served as trainers during these sessions.

Participants received comprehensive information on combating human trafficking, strategies for avoiding becoming victims of trafficking, and related topics. The sessions included discussions and detailed Q&A sessions where participants' queries were addressed thoroughly. Additionally, informational booklets on human trafficking were distributed to each gymnasium.

The educational events sparked significant interest among the participants, fostering greater awareness and understanding of the issue.
