On April 10-11, 2024, an international scientific-practical conference was held in Minsk on the topic of "Comprehensive Combat Measures Against Modern Forms of Human Trafficking and Sexual Exploitation and Sexual Violence of Children."
Representatives of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan participated in the event.
The conference, held at the Militia Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, was attended by representatives from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan. Additionally, the Deputy Director of the CIS Coordinating Office for Combating Organized Crime, the head of the International Organization for Migration in Belarus, and a representative from the United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) participated.
During the event, a presentation was made on the work done to protect children in Azerbaijan. Information was also shared regarding recent legislative changes aimed at combating the sexual exploitation and sexual violence of children.
