Recently, a delegation from the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan traveled to Minsk, Republic of Belarus. The delegation included Police Major General Islam Humbatov, head of the Main Department for Combating Drugs; Police Major Nadir Mammadov, head of division; and Police Colonel Samir Garayev, head of the division of the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings.
During their visit, they engaged in discussions with the leadership of the Main Departments for Combating Illegal Drug Trafficking and Human Trafficking at the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus. These meetings facilitated an exchange of views on mutual challenges and strategies in combating these issues.
Our representatives also visited the Internal Affairs Department of the Korelichsk District to gain insights into their activities related to combating illegal drug trafficking and human trafficking.
At the Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, the delegation received comprehensive information about the educational institution's activities.
The visit concluded with a tour of the Main Department of Internal Affairs of Minsk city, where further discussions and observations were made regarding their operational strategies and practices.
