During May, the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in collaboration with the Ministry of Science and Education, the Office of the Ombudsman, and the NGO Coalition to Combat Human Trafficking, continued educational activities. Educational events were held for teachers and students of 15 vocational lyceums and schools located in Guba, Shirvan, Balakan, Lankaran, Sabirabad, Ganja, Shamkir, Mingachevir, Barda, Goychay, Shamakhi, Khachmaz, and Masalli.
The event, titled "Nature, Forms, Dangers of Human Trafficking and Combating Human Trafficking," saw the participation of more than two thousand students and teachers. Participants received detailed information about the nature and forms of human trafficking, methods of identifying victims, first aid and services for potential victims, the "Hotline," and other victim identification methods.
The training sparked significant interest among the participants, and many questions about the topics were answered.
