On October 28, the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in collaboration with "Tamiz Dunya (Clean World) Aid to Women Public Union," organized a round table at the Apa Holding media center. Representatives from the State Migration Service, the State Tourism Agency, the International Organization for Migration, and non-governmental organizations specializing in combating human trafficking participated in the event.

The discussion focused on preventing the risk of individuals becoming victims of human trafficking in connection with the development and expansion of tourism in Azerbaijan. Additionally, the progress made in preparing preventive measures to protect such individuals and the tasks ahead were discussed.

Proposals on the discussed issues were accepted during the event, which was conducted in a cordial and professional atmosphere. The collaborative efforts to be undertaken by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the State Migration Service, and the State Tourism Agency were determined.
