On August 4, a video conference was held to discuss issues related to the implementation of the Convention on the Abolition of Forced Labour of the International Labour Organization (ILO). Police Colonel Samir Garayev, Head of the Division of the Main Department on Combating Trafficking in Human Beings at the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and Police Colonel Vugar Taghiyev, Deputy Head of the Main Department on Investigation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, participated in the conference.

The conference, moderated by Deputy Minister of Labour and Social Protection of the Population Anar Karimov, also included the participation of Miranda Fayerman, representative of the International Labour Organization, along with representatives from the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Azerbaijan, the General Prosecutor's Office, the Supreme Court, the Confederation of Trade Unions, and the National Confederation of Entrepreneurs.

Deputy Minister Karimov opened the conference, followed by presentations from Miranda Fayerman on the ILO's position regarding forced Labour. In his speech, Head of Division Samir Garayev provided information on the corrective measures outlined in the Criminal Code of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
