Article 123-1. Granting of a recovery and reflection Period to the Victim of Trafficking in Persons

Upon examination of information concerning a committed or prepared criminal offence, an employee of the investigation body, an investigator, or a prosecutor exercising procedural supervision over the preliminary investigation shall adopt a decision on granting the victim of trafficking in persons a 30-day period of recovery and reflection to enable the victim to recover their state, to avoid the influence of the perpetrators, and to make an informed decision regarding cooperation with the bodies of criminal prosecution.
